Holidays Cornwall

Looking for holidays in Cornwall? Visit The Old Quay House hotel in Fowey Cornwall, explore the stunning Cornish coastline, scenery and stroll along some of the best beaches in England. See spectacular coast views which change every single day and you might just catch sight of a seal.

Fowey is a town where the roads were designed long before the motor car was invented. A thoroughbred literary connection comes courtesy of Daphne du Maurier and there is a picturesque harbour surrounded by fascinating winding streets well worth exploring. The Eden Project, St. Ives and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are all within close reach as is Jamie Oliver’s ‘Fifteen’ at Watergate Bay.

Things to do in Cornwall

August is Regatta month in Fowey and throughout the year there are always plenty of opportunities to get out on the water. Take a tranquil trip up the river with friends, try some trout fishing or just moor up at a peaceful spot and enjoy a picnic. Sailing lessons in a traditional wooden dinghy can be easily arranged as can RIB rides to explore the nature reserve at Looe island. Closer to Fowey, Great Lantic Beach and Little Lantic Beach can both be reached by the coastal path from the beautifully unspoilt Polruan. The whole area is classed as an official Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Whatever you get up to and for whatever reason you arrive, Jane and her diligent team will make sure you leave feeling completely refreshed and your holiday was memorable.
